Compass Roofing is a locally owned roofing company based in Ogden, Utah, run by Cameron Husom — a husband and father of six whose own family lives under a Northern Utah roof. We replace and repair roofs across the Wasatch Front with a free inspection, a written price up front, and no payment until the work is done right.
Why Compass exists
After every big windstorm along the Wasatch Front, the door-knockers show up. Some are fine. Plenty aren't: the pressure to sign today, the bid that grows after the tear-off, the crew that stops answering the phone once the check clears. Homeowners aren't wrong to be wary. The industry earned it.
Before starting Compass, Cameron spent years selling and managing roofing and exterior projects for a Northern Utah general contractor, running crews, walking roofs, and sitting at kitchen tables with homeowners. He watched good people get pressured into signing, upsold work they didn't need, or ghosted once the money changed hands. Compass is the company he built in response: the one he'd want to hire for his own house.
